Twitter is not used for just personal updates but utilized for advertisements and news media. When using twitter, one must condense his or her thought, information, or Ad into 140 characters. While this seems short, I foresee that the next generation will find an even shorter method to condense thoughts, info, and Ads. Even now, many users of social networking skip Ads because they are annoying and take two seconds too long to read. Maybe "Flutter" is the answer. For businesses, "Flutter could revolutionize the advertisement industry by actually making Ads that are readable in just a glance. While "Flutter" remains a fable in the internet/social media world, someday we may see a similar social network and Flutter-the fast pace media network- may become a reality.
I agree with your point that while “Flutter” still remains a fable in the internet/ social media world, I really do think that someday, with a bit of luck, people may see this as fast pace media network- may become a reality. I believe that focusing on main points so that you can get straight to someone’s main ideas. For example, when we are assigned to read books in a short amount of time, we should be able to skim through in short amount of time and understand the author’s point. Moreover, I think Flutter not only helps us to comprehend things fast, but can save time as well.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about top. I accidently pushed "Post Comment". How do you delete comments once you already posted up???

I believe that comprehending main points in a short time is important because there are a lot of benefits we can gain by doing that. I completely agree, although the idea of Shutter or "Shttr" is similarly crazy, how can we limit our future by condemning it in the present. Very few revolutionary ideas were just accepted into society and most were openly met with skepticism.
ReplyDeleteI also find your point about advertising quite relevant as well,it is a booming business that is invading nearly every aspect of our lives. Look at facebook; they use the information in your "info" tab to present personal, targeted advertising. I can most definitely imagine a site where each form of communication is supplemented with some form of advertising.
